As the creator of the Khadijah Volumes, I am excited to share with you my journey in ballroom culture through the music. This album series was my response to the gentrification of ballroom, a way for me and folks like me to reclaim the roots and authenticity of the culture that has been historically removed and taken-over.

Through these volumes, I sought to showcase the true essence of ballroom - the energy, the passion, the competition, the community and the coolness. I wanted to capture the raw emotions of the ballroom floor and translate them into sound, creating a visceral experience that would transport the girls straight into the heart of beatz.

Over the past three years, I have been overwhelmed by the support and love I have received for the Khadijah Volumes. These volumes have been played and celebrated in ballroom clubs, radio shows and voguers all over the world, connecting us with a global community of dancers and music lovers.

As I release the final installment in the series, I'm still reflecting on the impact that ballroom culture has had on my life and my music and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the culture in our own way. This the end of the Khadijah Volumes but of course I will continue to create and give back in whatever way I can.

Thank you for joining me on this journey through ballroom, and I really hope that this music has brought you as much joy, inspiration and energy as it has brought us.
